As a Webmaster, I take a personal interest in the sites I build. So, I went to different Pawn Shops and compared prices.
At one shop, I bought a Marantz PMD professional cassette recorder
that, according to the sales person, needed only one of the buttons (Record) replaced. Something I could do myself.
What they didn't tell me was that someone had spilled something
syrupy, perhaps a cola drink, inside it. The result is that it was not worth fixing. This, according to a guy who specializes in Marantz. He
wouldn't give me anything for it and said that he didn't even want it for parts. So he sent it back.When I tried to return it, I was refused a refund or even a store credit.
Another shop had a Heathkit bench power supply that I would like to have had, but the price was half again what it cost new. Naturally, I didn't buy it. That's how it is some times.
But if you go to Pacific Loan, these things won't happen to you.
